Abstract：‘Yuzihongzaoqie No.1’is a new early-maturing eggplant F1 hybrid，developed by crossing
inbred line‘0070-2’as female parent and‘1116’as male parent．The first flower is setting on 9-10th
nodes．The plant has moderate growth potential，with average plant height of 82.0 cm and spreading degree of 75.0 cm．The fruit is long type and straight in shape，with dark purple skin in the early stage and purple red in the middle and late stages．Its average length and transverse diameter is 29.0 cm and 6.5 cm，and single fruit weight is 280.0 g．The flesh is white，and soft flesh．It is moderate resistant to cotton blight and phomopsis rot．It can yield about 49.5 t · hm-2．It is suitable for early spring open field cultivation in southwestern regions．
